Month-end without spreadsheets
A wholesaler's finance team spends the first week of each month building a sales and margin report in Excel. A nightly pipeline loads data from the online store and the accounting system into Azure SQL, and a Power BI report replaces the spreadsheet.
Stock across locations
A business with several warehouses can't see stock levels in one place. We combine data from each site into one report showing stock on hand, slow-moving items and reorder points.
A report that takes minutes to open
A Power BI report has grown to dozens of pages and times out on refresh. We rebuild the data model, remove unused tables and move heavy calculations into the database.
Air charter utilisation
An air charter operator wants to see revenue and hours flown for each aircraft without asking the operations team. We combine booking and invoice data into a report showing utilisation, revenue per flight hour and repeat customers.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need Power BI licences?
Usually, yes. People who publish or share reports need a Power BI Pro licence, which you buy from Microsoft. We'll tell you which licences you need before any work starts.
Our data is messy. Can you still help?
Yes. Most projects start with messy data. The data review stage finds the problems, and we fix them in the pipeline so the reports stay accurate.
Do we need Azure?
Not always. Smaller setups can connect Power BI directly to your systems. Once there are several sources or a lot of data, a reporting database on Azure is more reliable, and we'll recommend what fits.
Can our team change the reports later?
Yes. We hand over the reports and data model with documentation, and can train your staff to build and edit their own reports.
Who can see the data?
Only the people you give access to. We set up workspaces and row-level security so, for example, each branch manager sees only their own branch.
